With an Essential account, you can receive Kard Rewards directly to a deposit account already connected to your workplace, without the hassle of setting up direct deposit! With our easy ways to spend and save your funds, banking has never been simpler!

Essential Account Available Features

Your Essential account comes with a free deposit account and debit card with select access to KH Card App features, including:

• Banking account with Mastercard debit card
• Ability to receive workplace deposits
• Option to set aside funds for a savings goal
• Up to 8 free ATM transactions per month at in-network AllPoint ATMs
  • A $2 fee will apply per AllPoint transaction after 8 transactions until the next month.
• Pay bills via debit card

• Essential accounts are only available if you work with an employer who has opted into offering this account type. Please reach out to your employer for any questions related to their Branch partnership.

Explanation of Premier and Essential accounts during signup

Branch is not a bank. Banking services are provided by Lead Bank, Member FDIC and Evolve Bank & Trust, Member FDIC, which are Branch’s bank partners. The name of the bank partner for your account is listed on the back of your debit card and can also be found in the Branch App under “Your Account Information”. FDIC insurance only applies to eligible accounts should the bank holding your funds fail. Branch Mastercard Debit Cards are issued by Evolve Bank & Trust or Lead Bank, Member FDIC, as applicable, pursuant to a license from Mastercard and may be used everywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted.
