How do I upgrade from an Essential to a Premier account?

If you have an Essential account, you can upgrade to a Premier account for free right from the app! Once you're verified, you can start using all of the features available in a Premier account.

What account type do I have currently?

Navigate to the Account tab in the app, and underneath your name is a badge that indicates what type of account you have.

What can I do with a Premier account?

Premier accounts have all of the benefits of Essential accounts, in addition to the features listed below:

• In-app access to your account and routing number
• Easily transfer funds to and from your KH Card Account
• Convenient bill pay options
• Add direct deposit for other workplaces and have your earnings all in one account
• Cash and mobile check deposit

How do I upgrade from an Essential to Premier account?

To get started with upgrading your account, navigate to the Account tab in the app!

1. Tap on the Essential account badge under your name
2. Tap on Upgrade to a Premier Account.
3. The next screen highlights the features available with a Premier account, in addition to the information required for verification. Tap on Continue.
4. Tap on Begin verifying.
5. After passing verification, tap on Continue.
6. Check the box to agree to Branch's card agreements, and then tap on Continue.
7. Your account has been upgraded! Tap on Continue to navigate back to your account.

Important to note: If you currently have a Minor account (less than 18 years old), your account will not be eligible for upgrade until you turn 18.
